Crazy weekend over-Huge success.Workshops success. Entertainer workshop went really well-First time I've done that and it worked-I suppose after nearly 20years in the biz -acting and dancing I should know something about performing but i'm so keen on dancers learning to perform its every bit as important as learning to dance (if you are going to perform that is)Though I say it myself I danced really very well on Saturday night-great crowd. met the other teacher Tara,who is a fantastic dancer and nice person and actually started dancing with the same teacher I did.Not at the same time-small world
And I'm so PROUD of my BAD girls.We danced like a group inspired and the wonderful thing for me was I just felt like one of the gang-not the leader/teacher.I honestly felt that they didn't need me at all and that was great.it has been a good dance for us-somehow it has developed a lot of confidence within the troupe.It works so well.I'm so lucky to have a good strong team.Hoping to work on this with the Khaleegi dance after Christmas.Will buy some Khaleegi dresses in Cairo for us.
My own performance was ok-not fab but not crap. I was a bit burnt out by then but I didn't make an arse of myself so what more can one ask.

Did I mention I'm off to Cairo tomorrow!!!
